Studio Band Sessions
The Studio Bands are a fun and interactive way for students or non students to gain the experience of playing with others in a band, recording in a professional recording studio and performing in front of a camera for a music video production. Students will get a chance to play a song chosen by the instructor, either with vocals or instrumentally depending on the student make-up and proficiency level of the studio band. Each studio band will have the opportunity to learn and rehearse the song in preparation for their final music video project, during which time the students will gain valuable experience both playing live with each other while learning the specific skill to perfect individual parts, including playing with a click, in preparation for a studio recording session.
2026 Spring Studio Band
The 2026 Spring Studio Band Experience is going to be awesome!
We will have an Audio and Video recording session culminating in a professionally edited music video uploaded to our studio YouTube channel at the very end! Each musician will also receive their own copy of the audio recording for personal use or sharing with friends and family.

The Studio Band consists of the following instrument positions:

Fridays and Saturdays 4/24 - 5/30 (see below for specific dates/times)
Rehearsal Schedule
Friday, 4/24 / 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Friday, 5/1 / 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Saturday, 5/2 / 10:00am - 11:30am
Friday, 5/8 - 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Friday, 5/15 4:30pm - 6:30pm (Dress Rehearsal / Band Video Recording)
Individual Recording Schedule
Friday, 5/29 / 4:30pm - TBD (times will be assigned based on availability as we get closer to recording)
Saturday, 5/30 / 9:00am - 4:00pm (times will be assigned based on availability as we get closer to recording)
Group Video Recording - Friday, 5/15 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Individual Recording Sessions* - Friday, 5/29 4:30pm - TBD & Saturday, 5/30 All day (individual times TBD)
*For individual recording sessions, please block out all day or additional time, just in case recording sessions run longer than anticipated. Each musician will be assigned their individual recording time as we get closer to the recording dates.
Recording Session Dates
There will be 2 separate recording sessions with the individual time slot based on student availability:
- Group Recording Session - FRIDAY, MAY 15th
- Individual Recording Session which includes both audio AND individual video recording - FRIDAY, MAY 29th & SATURDAY, MAY 30th - times TBD
1 optional Private 30 minute private coaching session per student
Coaching Dates TBD based on if the student needs coaching or not - times will be scheduled individually depending on individual student and teacher availability.
Required Equipment
All students will need to bring proper headphones that are recommended by the studio to work best in the studio environment for rehearsals and video recording. Here is a link to the headphones we would like you to purchase for this experience (researched for best price point for the needed technology and noise cancellation for our experience):
BASN in-Ear Monitors are what we recommend. You can find them HERE or HERE.

There is also a recommended app for rehearsing the song at home that can be downloaded to a phone or tablet called 'Moises'. This will aid in at-home rehearsals. The free version will be sufficient, you will not need to upgrade to a paid plan unless you opt to have more options.
Studio Band Tuition
$350 per student ($50 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your spot with the balance due by 4/20/26)
** There are currently only a few spots and all instruments will be on a
first come, first served basis, so contact us to reserve your spot!**
All tuition includes:
- All Rehearsal Sessions
- One OPTIONAL private one-on-one 30 minute lesson with instructor
- One Final Video and Audio recording session per student
- All recording, mixing, editing, and mastering of final audio recording and music video
Registration
Tuition is due in full by Monday, APRIL 20th

2025 Fall Studio Band
The video below is our 2025 Fall Studio Band. This is an example of what a final video of a Studio Band Experience will look like. Students will rehearse together as a group, but final recordings will be separate and then mixed together by James Nobriga for the final video (and uploaded to the KMA official YouTube Channel).
