Tuition Policies (by registering for an account, you agree to all studio policies)

- All invoices will be sent out via e-mail the last week of the month prior to the invoiced month.

- Tuition is due monthly on the 1st of each month or by the student's 1st lesson (with prior notice if it falls after the 3rd).  Any payments made after the 3rd of each month will be considered late unless agreed to be paid ahead of time on students first lesson if it falls after the 3rd.

- Tuition may be paid via Venmo, via Zelle, via check made payable to JnK Productions, Inc. or with cash and brought to the studio by the 1st of the month. We also offer the option to opt in for recurring payments through Square. Please let us know if you'd more information about this option.

-A new student's first month tuition will be pro-rated based on the date of first lesson and number of lessons projected for the month. Tuition for the first month will be due no later than the students first lesson.

- Lesson refunds or credits will only be considered in the event of an instructor cancellation or legal holiday that results in fewer than 4 lessons per month without the availability of a make-up lesson.  Please see Cancellation Policies for more information.

Lesson Cancellation Policies

- Student cancellations are non-refundable, however make ups may be scheduled.  The lesson time has been reserved exclusively for the student and the monthly tuition will remain the same, regardless of the students' attendance.

 - If a student is unable to attend their reserved lesson time, please contact the instructor or studio by phone, text, or email.  With a minimum of 24 hours notice, a make-up lesson will be offered, however it cannot be guaranteed.  If there is no prior notice given, the missed lesson will be considered a 'no-show'.

- In the event of a no-show or missed lesson, there will not be a make-up lesson or credit offered.

- When a make-up lesson is offered, you will be contacted with either a make-up lesson time option or a link to look at available make-up lesson times to choose from.  If the make-up lesson is unable to be scheduled during the current month, the make-up lesson can be carried over to the following month however the make-up offer will expire after 30 days and there will not be a lesson credit offered once expired.

- Studio closures may include legal holidays, but may also include additional closures. In the event that a student's regular lesson time falls during a studio closure, for any reason, the lesson time will be treated as an instructor cancellation.  All studio closures will be listed on the studio website Schedule page, as well as direct contact via email, call, or text from the instructor(s).

- In the case of an instructor cancellation, a make-up lesson will be offered.  If a make-up lesson is unable to be scheduled, there will be a credit for the missed lesson applied to the next month's tuition. In the event that regular lessons are terminated, there will be no cash refunds offered, however the credit will remain on the account and can be used for a lesson at a later time. This credit can also be transferred to a different student or a different instructor.

- Charter School student Cancellation Policies are as follows: for any and all cancellations, whether student or instructor, a make-up time can be requested or offered if time permits. If it is a student cancellation, it must be requested (if the student or parent wishes to make it up). This student request will be honored if time is available within the instructor's schedule, and it is made within 24hours prior to cancellation. If spot is available, a time will be offered. In the case of an instructor cancellation, a make up spot will be offered without the need for request. In both cases, if the time offered is unacceptable, no further make-ups will be offered and no credit will be given. Due to the nature of the billing system, credits are not an option. We will endeavor to ensure that all lessons are given for each month and any missed lessons due to teacher cancellations or student requests are given one make up option to the best of our ability if space is available.

Termination Policies

- In the case of a student or parent decision to terminate regular lessons, please provide a two week notice prior to termination. This can be done via email, text, call, or in person. We want to ensure that we have advance notice to stop any upcoming billing, adjust scheduling, and plan for the financial adjustment. If two weeks’ notice is given near the beginning of a new month, regular lessons will continue for those two weeks. If notice is not given two weeks prior to the start of a new month, there will be a termination fee totaling two weeks’ tuition due without the offer of lessons.

 - In the case of a studio decision to terminate regular lessons, every attempt will be made to schedule lessons for any pre-paid tuition.  In the case of an inability to schedule lessons, a refund will be offered at the discretion of the instructor or a credit will remain on the student account allowing for future lessons. We will also allow the credit to be transferred to a different student or instructor.

 - In the case of repeat no-show's (2 or more in a calendar month), attempts will be made to contact the student (or the student's parent or guardian) via the information provided on their account.  If all attempts are unsuccessful and have not been returned within a one-week time frame from the first attempt, the student will surrender their regular lesson time and will be removed from the current roster. Any remaining pre-paid tuition will be forfeit.  Any requests to return to the current roster must be approved by the instructor and previous lesson times cannot be guaranteed.
